Harper’s Bazaar digital’s ‘Dare I Say’ podcast was brought to life last night with the legendary Jane Fonda at a members-only event for American Express. The Academy Award winner and lifelong activist led an inspiring conversation on environmental justice alongside Peggy Shepard of We Act. The conversation, held at the cozy Le Chalet at L’Avenue at Saks, centered around society’s ever-growing impact on the environment and how we must take a “no apologies” stance to make a change. “Our social fabric is unraveling just as the Earth’s fabric is unraveling, and if we don’t fix them both together it’s not really going to solve it,” said Fonda. “That’s the truth and we have very little time left.” The taping of this episode will launch Season Two of the podcast on Friday, December 6.
