• The cast of Game of Thrones reunited at the 2020 SAG Awards.
  • The show received three nominations at this year's ceremony.

Months after Game of Thrones concluded its eighth and final season, members of the beloved cast came back together at the Screen Actors Guild Awards tonight. Stars like Sophie Turner (who stunned in a hot pink Louis Vuitton look), Gwendoline Christie (who towered in a structural black gown), and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau stepped onto the red carpet for the A-list gathering, giving us serious GoT flashbacks.

Other familiar GoT faces included Alfie Allen (Theon Greyjoy), Kristofer Hivju (Tormund), John Bradley (Sam Tarly), Liam Cunningham (Ser Davos), and Ben Crompton (Eddison Tollett). Stars like Kit Harington, Emilia Clarke, Lena Headey, and Maisie Williams were missing in action, however.

The hit HBO fantasy show, which took its final bow last summer, is up for a few final SAG honors this year: Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series, Outstanding Action Performance by a Stunt Ensemble in a Comedy or Drama Series, and Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Drama Series (Peter Dinklage). Sadly for GoT fans, this may be one of the last times the cast gathers during an awards season.

This won't be the end of the Game of Thrones universe, though. HBO ordered a full season of a Targaryen-centered prequel series, called House of the Dragon, which is expected to arrive in 2022. If the spinoff is anything like the original series, that cast may very well end up gracing future awards seasons too.
