Nicole Kidman is back at the Oscars looking every inch a star in an elegant custom-made Armani Privé gown.

The Being the Ricardos actress made her awaited entrance on the red carpet in a strapless silk dress that featured a deep-V neckline and bedazzled train. Upping the glamour, she paired the gown with an Omega timepiece and Harry Winston jewelry—including the brand's Eagle Yellow Diamond Necklace from the New York Collection, as well as yellow diamond earrings and cluster diamond bracelet. She topped off the look with a striking red lip.

Though Kidman's 2022 Oscars look wasn't quite the Christian Dior Haute Couture moment from 1997—when she wore one of the ritziest gowns in Oscars history—it was certainly a wardrobe elevation from last year. During the 93rd Academy Awards, the actress sat on the floor of her hotel room wearing a simple white lace top and blue jeans for a remote quarantined viewing of the ceremony.

"Sitting crossed legged on the floor watching the #Oscars," Kidman captioned a candid photo of herself by the TV on Instagram. "Been doing this since I was a little girl ✨."

Kidman is a nominee this year for Best Actress as Lucille Ball in director Aaron Sorkin's 2021 drama, Being the Ricardos, based on the late I Love Lucy actress. "This was the hardest role I've ever done and to be honored this way is deeply appreciated," she wrote in a heartfelt post on Instagram following the news of her nomination. "Lucille Ball is one of Hollywood's greatest icons. She was ahead of her time. From actress to producer to studio head, mother and wife, she's an extraordinary inspiration! Thank you Lucille Ball ❤️."

The nomination is her first in the category in 12 years, following her Best Actress nod back in 2011 for her role as Becca in Rabbit Hole. It also follows her 2003 Oscar win f0r Best Actress for her performance as Virginia Woolf in Stephen Daldry's critically acclaimed romance drama The Hours.
