Ayo Edebiri's effortlessly cool red-carpet style is back and as glamorous as ever.

On Sunday evening, the actor made a flashy arrival at Los Angeles’s Peacock Theater for the 76th Primetime Emmy Awards. For the special occasion, she tapped Bottega Veneta, who custom-made the unique piece through a laser-cut and 3D print design process. The end result was a showstopping strapless gown with a thigh-high leg slit, covered in glimmering red, yellow, and black sequins. To accessorize, she added small hoop earrings with sculptural silver pendants attached, plus glossy black heels from Gianvito Rossi.

Tonight, Edebiri is nominated for her performance as Sydney Adamu on FX’s The Bear in the category of Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series. She won her first-ever Emmy at the 2023 ceremony this past January, when she took home the award in the category of Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series. Her historic win marked the third win ever in that category for a Black woman, following Jackée Harry’s win in 1987 and Sheryl Lee Ralph’s in 2022.

“This is a show about family—found family and real family—and my parents are here tonight! I’m making them sit kind of far away from me because I’m a bad kid,” Edebiri joked in her acceptance speech at the time. “I love you guys so much. Thank you so much for loving me and letting me feel beautiful and Black and proud of all of that. I love you so much. It’s probably not a dream to emigrate to this country and have your child be like, ‘I wanna do improv!’ But you’re real ones.”

At the 2023 ceremony, The Bear swept the night, winning a total of 10 Emmys, including for Outstanding Comedy Series win.

Matty Matheson accepted the Emmy on behalf of the cast. “I just want to thank restaurants as a whole, hospitality as a whole,” he said in his speech. “I just love restaurants so much. The good, the bad—we’re all so broken inside, and every single day, we have to show up and cook and make people feel good by eating something and sitting at a table, and it’s really beautiful.”
