Katie Holmes is the queen of the errand-run look—no question.
This Saturday, the actor stepped out in the perfect laid-back street look for a day of running around the city. For her top, she chose a slouchy sand-colored sweater with an ample mock neck to keep her warm in the chilly Manhattan winter. She then wrapped herself up in a cozy black double-breasted coat, which she belted at the waist.
For bottoms, our favorite minimalist opted for her go-to wide-leg blue jeans with a light-blue stripe down each side.
But the best part of her fit? The pointy white leather Mary Jane flats that she wore with black ankle socks, like a cool girl. The shoes have a crisscrossing strap at the tip and a buckle strap at the ankle. The finishing touches of her outfit included a canvas tote from ecoconscious Italian brand Marfa Stance, large black Marc Jacobs by Safilo sunglasses, and two venti Starbucks coffees, which likely means she was heading to rehearsals for her star-studded Broadway show Our Town. The play, led by Jim Parsons of The Big Bang Theory, closes on Broadway at the end of January, following months of moving, triumphant performances and glowing reviews.
