Having grown up in a household where cameras frequently rolled, Delilah Belle Hamlin’s own entrée into the spotlight feels almost predestined. The eldest child of actor Harry Hamlin and actor and The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum Lisa Rinna, Delilah is yet another example of a kid who was raised on reality TV and parlayed their exposure into their own public-facing career. The 26-year-old has modeled for some of fashion’s biggest names and dabbled in music and, most recently, she’s followed in her parents’ footsteps and put her acting chops to the test.
Below, everything you need to know about the young star.
She was raised in Los Angeles
Hamlin was born on June 10, 1998, in Los Angeles, California, where she resides now. The oldest of three siblings, she has a younger sister, the model Amelia Gray Hamlin, and a half-brother, Dimitri Hamlin.
Modeling was never her end goal
In 2016, while still in high school, Hamlin signed with Elite Model Management and later that year made her runway debut in a Tommy Hilfiger show co-designed by fellow Housewives alum Gigi Hadid. “I never planned on modeling,” Hamlin shared in an interview with Women’s Wear Daily. “I had an Instagram and I would make my sister take pictures of me in our backyard. One day, a modeling agency contacted me, and I said, ‘I guess this could be a fun journey.’”
In 2017, Hamlin got the opportunity of a lifetime: to walk in Dolce & Gabbana’s spring runway show in Milan alongside her younger sister. Their debut generated plenty of buzz, and later that year Hamlin left Elite and signed with IMG.
In 2018, Hamlin moved to New York City full-time to study criminal psychology at New York University. “I took a course on criminal psychology in high school and it was the most interesting thing ever so I want to study that,” she shared with WWD.
She’s been open about her struggles with her mental and physical health
Balancing the stresses of student life, navigating a new city, and her growing work as a model took its toll on Hamlin’s mental health.
In a now-deleted post on her Instagram, Hamlin shared: "I've been hesitant to share this information with you guys because there are a lot of you now and sometimes that scares me. I strive to try my hardest to be a positive influence on my younger followers. I wanted to share this with you guys today because it could help at least one person struggling with anxiety and or depression. This time last year I was in rehabilitation. I moved to New York to start my journey as a student at NYU. Not long after I moved to New York I began having terrible depression. I started attracting negative people into my life because my thoughts were so negative. I got trapped in a severely unhealthy relationship that pushed me over the edge. I couldn't get out of the relationship because I thought I was deserving of it."
About eight months later, Hamlin decided to return to Los Angeles and enter a rehab facility for her mental health issues. She ultimately spent two stints at the facility and on her Instagram Stories sharedthat it was "the best thing that has ever happened to me."
In 2023, Hamlin’s health once again made headlines when the model, then 24, revealed on Instagram that she had been struggling to manage her autoimmune and chronic illnesses, which include Lyme disease, Epstein-Barr virus, encephalitis and Pediatric Autoimmune Neuropsychiatric Disorders Associated with Streptococcal Infections (PANDAS).
"I haven't really spoken on my health lately & if you're new here you're probably confused but for the past few years I've been struggling with autoimmune/ chronic illness issues that I've been silently battling and overcoming," Hamlin wrote. "It's definitely been tough mentally alongside physically. I've kind of kept quiet because I don't want to be put in a 'sick' role."
Her clients include SKIMS and H&M
Since making her modeling debut, Hamlin has continued to work with a dynamic array of brands. She’s appeared in campaigns for Michael Kors, Good American, SKIMS, and H&M and appeared on the cover of Perfect and Flaunt.
These days, you’re more likely to catch her on-screen—or on the radio
In 2021, Hamlin shared with Phoenix magazine that she was interested in trying her hand at a career in music. “I am so excited to be starting on this career path because it’s something I’m extremely passionate about! I’ve always loved singing and creating music, and I’ve always used music as meditation, a release, or just a coping mechanism,” she told the outlet. Two years later, she dropped her first single, “Nothing Lasts Forever,” and while her sonic output has dwindled since then, her Instagram bio currently reads “music coming soon…”
How soon is yet to be determined, but Hamlin has been booked and busy. Following in her parents’ footsteps, she’s appeared in two scripted movies: 2024’s cyber-bullying thriller Mommy Meanest, in which her mother Rinna also stars; and 2023’s murder mystery How She Caught a Killer. In regard to her foray into acting, Hamlin told People, “I just feel like when opportunities present themselves, why not take them? Why not enjoy? Yes, there's other paths I would like to take and focus on. But if you have an opportunity, why not explore it, take it, enjoy it, and learn from it?”
She’s dating actor Henry Eikenberry
Hamlin and Eikenberry, who you might recognize from Lisa Frankenstein and American Horror Stories, have been dating since 2023.
She recently revealed that the two of them recently auditioned for the same television show, though she didn’t share which one. “I never thought I would be acting. And Henry and I, we thought we were going to be in different categories, just different pods, and I guess it just kind of came into one,” said Hamlin.
