An It shoe on the verge of absolutely popping off loves to see Jennifer Lawrence coming.
The actor helped usher in the return of the Adidas Samba, the Puma Speedcat, and the Vans Authentics, and she has put her stamp of approval on the Loewe Ballet Runner and the controversial jelly sandals. Now, she’s repping a new shoe. For the past several days, Lawrence has been wearing Adidas’s Tokyo sneakers in sleek white and watermelon-red leather, with a crisscrossing detail at the back. The elegant ballerina-inspired shoes look a lot like Adidas’s Japan shoes, which are just chic.
The No Hard Feelings star wore her Tokyos with baggy light-wash blue jeans and a light-gray hoodie. Of course, like the cool girl she is, she layered her hoodie under a pristine ivory leather trench coat and capped off her look with a black leather shoulder bag, skinny black sunglasses, and some gold rings, including her diamond engagement ring from husband Cooke Maroney.
From the sides of her hoodie, her wispy, wavy blond hair peeked out.
Lawrence also stepped out in her Adidas Tokyo sneakers last week, when she styled them with a cozy butter-yellow jacket, a white T-shirt, a frilly white linen skirt, and a vintage Fendi backpack in a zebra print. The red of her shoes matched the accents on her backpack, as well as the rouge stone that dangled from her neck. The actor finished that look with John Lennon–esque oval shades.
