Emma Stone knows how to make an entrance. The Poor Things star arrived at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival today in an incredible custom Louis Vuitton gown completely covered in sequins.
The shimmering sleeveless dress featured a low plunging V neckline that went down nearly to the two-time Oscar-winning actor’s belly button, plus a tiered skirt that flowed into a sweeping train that grazed the Palais des Festivals red carpet.
In the back, the straps were sheer purplish-red panels that mimicked the deep neckline and exposed Stone’s bare skin.
Stone let the gown shine, accessorizing it only with gold and diamond earrings and a big gold cuff also scattered with diamonds. She wore her red hair in casually elegant waves and had on natural, glowy makeup.
As we know, Stone knows her way around a red carpet. Earlier this year, the actor made a stunning appearance at the Golden Globes, where she wore another fabulous custom Louis Vuitton ensemble. That one was a sheer slipdress with glittery champagne-colored sequins embroidered all over, along with a slew of dainty pale pink and dusty blue flower illustrations. Stone accessorized with double drop earrings and a vibrant yellow gemstone ring.
The actor wore Louis Vuitton again to the Oscars—a strapless corset top with a dramatic peplum detail, and a floor-length skirt, both in a light aquamarine hue. The pieces were embossed with an intricate seashell-like pattern, giving Stone the appearance of a glamorous mermaid. Stone paired the set with a white diamond choker necklace with a massive yellow diamond at the center, plus white diamond studs and rings.
