WARNING: This story contains spoilers for Stranger Things 2.

The second season of Stranger Things featured a more sensitive side of Hawkins' police chief Jim Hopper, thanks to his heartwarming relationship with Eleven. He left Eggo waffles out for her in the woods when he realized she was still alive, he took her in and refurbished his old storage cabin for her to live in, he cooks her breakfast, and he makes house rules like the concerned adoptive father he is. However, the internet seems convinced that the best development in Hopper's character is his dancing ability.

A sweet moment in Season 2, Episode 3 "The Pollywog," spotlights Hopper's dad dancing skills when he puts on a record and busts a move for Eleven while they're tidying up the cabin. Apparently, Jim Croce's "You Don't Mess Around with Jim" is his go-to vinyl, but Twitter user @HopperDancingTo has been dubbing the footage from the scene with different songs, including cheesy '80s tunes, NSYNC hits, your favorite emo tracks of the 2000s, and much more.

The result? The greatest Stranger Things meme of the season. Take a look at some of the funniest ones below:

The tweets went so viral, even Hopper himself (AKA actor David Harbour) took notice. He retweeted the Hall & Oates iteration of the meme and applauded the person who started the trend. "Whoever created this account has won, not only the internet, but, yes, my stone cold heart," he wrote.

Stranger Things director Shawn Levy laughed along and called the scene one of his proudest moments:

Even Millie Bobby Brown admit that she's seen the videos, and did her best impression of Dancing Hopper on TRL:

Looks like we're going to have to keep watching Dancing Hopper memes until Stranger Things returns for Season 3.
