Hark! Who goes there?! Why yes, it's yet another bald eagle, patriotically swooping its way into Sunday's episode of Outlander. Some faves from past seasons showed up this week—because apparently North Carolina is super easy to get to!—and more importantly, Jamie spent a full five minutes seductively sawing wood in a billowing unbuttoned blouse. Here are the biggest moments from a pretty major episode.

Jamie Reunites with His Son

In case you'd forgotten, Jamie has a son who's been living with Lord John Grey—and surprise! They randomly show up in North Carolina! Jamie's kid is a dead ringer for his dad (meaning they have the same very unfortunate hair cut), and he's basically the 18th-century version of an emo middle schooler. Meaning, he's sassy, moody, and likely listens to whatever the classical music version of Bright Eyes is.

And while William has no idea that Jamie's his biological father, he does remember him fondly—and they get a chance to bond on a camping trip, thanks to John Grey conveniently contracting the measles and being quarantined. Sure, William dramatically wanders onto Native American land and almost gets himself and Jamie killed (ugh, teenagers), but by the end of the episode these two are fast friends and it's clear their bond is eternal—even if William doesn't know the truth.

Claire and John Grey Have Some Real Talk

So, what do Claire and Lord John get up to while Jamie and William are camping? Oh, you know, John's just busy trying not to die of the measles, and Claire decides it's probably a good time for them to have a tense conversation about their mutual jealousy.

And while it's obvious these two have some unresolved issues due to both being in love with the same sexy Highlander, Claire is moved when John admits the real reason he came to Frasier's Ridge was because he felt approximately nothing when his wife died. Dude just wanted to see if he could still feel love when laying eyes on Jamie, and the answer? Yup.

Brianna Is Nowhere to Be Found

Last week, we saw Brianna pass through the stones while Roger, his turtleneck, and his guitar gently weeped. But if you thought we'd find out where Bree ended up, think again. Brianna didn't appear this week, so here's hoping she's doing okay! And honestly, here's hoping Roger's doing okay too, because dude does not seem stable.

Jamie Gives Claire a New Ring

Remember when Jamie gave Murtagh his mother's old candlestick to ~smelt~? Well, turns out he was having a brand-new wedding ring made for Claire, and it's absolutely beautiful. Jamie even inscribed it with the words "give me a thousand kisses," a gesture so romantic it honestly makes up for how much of this season has consisted of white men talking about taxes. And speaking of romantic...

Jamie and Claire Finally Have Sex

And thank god because:

These two haven't had a lot of alone time lately thanks to Not-Young-Anymore Ian, Murtagh, William, and John all being up in their space, but Jamie finally gave Claire a seductive bath at the end of this episode, and after lots of moaning and breathy sighs, they got to it. And yes, Jamie gave Claire a thousand kisses.
