Fans lamenting Claire Foy's absence from The Crown will be overjoyed to see that the actress appears to be making a comeback to the show.

Throughout Season 3, Foy made several sneaky appearances in the royal Netflix series in the form of photographs and portraits. But it appears as though she will play a bigger role in Season 4, as the actress has been photographed filming one of the queen's speeches.

Pictured dressed as the queen, Foy can be seen giving a speech that was originally broadcast by the BBC.

Claire Foy films a scene as Queen Elizabeth, then Princess Elizabeth on her 21st birthday.

At the time of the broadcast, Princess Elizabeth had yet to become queen. She spoke from Cape Town in South Africa on April 21, 1947, which was her 21st birthday. As photos taken during Princess Elizabeth's speech show, Foy's outfit perfectly re-creates the regal moment.

It's unclear in what capacity the scene will be included in the forthcoming season of The Crown, though it's possible that the queen will reflect on previous speeches she has given. Per Town & Country, Princess Elizabeth's 21st birthday speech was particularly memorable as she said, "I declare before you all that my whole life whether it be long or short shall be devoted to your service and the service of our great imperial family to which we all belong."
