Lizzo can now add Emmy Award winner to her résumé.

The "About Damn Time" singer took home the Emmy for Outstanding Competition Program for her Prime Video reality series, Watch Out for the Big Grrrls, which followed her search to find "confident, badass women" to join her backup dance crew on her next world tour.

Lizzo looked visibly shocked as her name was announced as the winner, and was emotional as she walked up the steps of Los Angeles's Microsoft Theater stage (in a fiery red custom Giambattista Valli creation, no less) to accept the award.

"I wanna say thank you to the Emmys and the Emmys voters, first of all," she began her speech. "I'm very emotional. The trophy is nice, but my emotion is for these people who are on this stage with me—the stories that they shared. They're not that unique, they just don't get the platform—telling stories, let's just tell more stories."

She continued, "When I was a little girl, all I wanted to see was me in the media, someone fat like me, Black like me, beautiful like me. If I could go back and tell little Lizzo something, I'd be like, 'You're gonna see that person, but, bitch, it's gonna have to be you!'"

Lizzo also took the time to praise her cast of dancers on the series and the work they put into the show.

"One year ago, these women were filming this television show that would change their lives forever. They are Emmy Award–winning superstars who are going on a world tour! Make some noise for my big girls!" she concluded.
