Travel Plan: Fly into Naples, after a short taxi ride you are at the harbor ready to board your boat to Capri. It’s a short and scenic ferry ride with beautiful vistas of Mount Vesuvius and Sorrento along the way.
Tour Group: Australian sisters Nicky and Simone Zimmermann hosted a glamorous group of fun women including Laura Dern, Katie Holmes, Phoebe Tonkin, Lady Kitty Spencer, Karolina Kurkova, Jessica Hart and others to celebrate the opening of their Capri store.
Trip Highlight: When life gives you lemons, you know you are in Capri! With views like a postcard, Nicky and Simone hosted a picture perfect al fresco luncheon served under a canopy of lemons.
The tablescape was equally divine with hand painted tiles for each guests’ place card, D’Ascoli Tidewater tablecloths, linens, and individual blocks of parmesan with graters to match.
Lunch was the most simple and perfect pomodoro as only the Italians can do.
Decadently served in a half barrel of Parmigiano Reggiano.
Best Day Time Activities: Living la dolce vita at an all-day seaside party at Villa Bismarck with sweeping views of Capri and the sea.
Best Night Out: Dinner cliffside with everyone celebrating at Il Riccio in Ana Capri, the perfect spot to catch the sunset and dance under the stars.
Don’t miss the dessert room downstairs with every dulce under the sun.
Highly Recommend: Take the scenic walk down Via Tragara to the famed beach club La Fontelina to swim at the foot of the dramatic I Faraglioni rocks.
Travel Tips: Make a trip to the top of Capri. The winding cliffside drive in an open air convertible taxi is half the fun. Once up, take the chairlift up to Mount Solano for the most stunning 360 degree views.
What to Pack: Flat sandals, straw bag, and Zimmermann summer dresses. For anything you forgot you can stop by the Zimmermann boutique on Via Vittorio Emanuele 30.
