Your Ultimate Guide to The Hamptons' Chicest Shops

Out East shopping at its finest...

Headshot of Harper's Bazaar StaffBy Harper's Bazaar Staff

Unlike your basic beach town, The Hamptons require a super-chic wardrobe of daytime casual and cocktail options–in textures, colors and cuts that feel equal parts cosmopolitan and summer holiday. New Yorkers' second home requires shopping options that rival their home base of Madison and Fifth Avenues, and more and more fashion destinations have been popping up (sometimes for the summer only) to cater to the fashion set's growing demand for summertime retail therapy. Here, the boutiques worth popping into as you stroll the streets–from Amagansett to Sag Harbor.

You can, of course, still find Bob Melet's usual treasures like vintage records and surfboards on hand.

The shop will carry all the top kids apparel lines including Stella McCartney, Milly and Spiritual Gangster. Each week at the East Hampton pop-up, the store will have various events such as an interactive photo booth, boomerang video booth, and a customized nail bar.

Westside, the adult side of the store, was inspired by Sari’s love of California and the ease of dressing comfortably, which is oh-so- perfect for the Hamptons. Expect curated pieces from designers like Lisa Marie Fernandez, Zimmerman and Aviator Nation.
