Moncler Grenoble Returns With Snowy Catwalk Spectacle in the French Alps
The brand put its Fall 2025 collection to the test in Courchevel
This weekend, the fashion crowd travelled to the French Alps, for a star-studded Moncler show at Courchevel Altiport – Europe’s highest airport, standing at 6,588 feet. The brand’s technical wear was put to the test as snow fell heavily on the ground while models took to the airport runway to showcase the brand’s Fall 2025 Grenoble collection.
The weather didn’t stop the A-list from making the trip. Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain, and Adrien Brody among others sat on the front row, with Adriana Lima and Doutzen Kroes walking the runway. Guests and the live orchestra, which provided music for the blustery show, wore matching Moncler Trailgrip shoes, duvet capes, and beanies. Blankets and hand warmers were left on seats, and hot drinks (a choice of a hot toddy, mulled wine, or a hot chocolate) were handed out in Moncler flasks to make sure guests were comfortable in the sub-zero conditions.
“Shedding the constraints of restrictive palettes, silhouettes, and fabrics usually associated with technical winter apparel, without compromising on indomitable performance, opened up a new world of possibility, informed by Moncler Grenoble’s unique sartorial tech approach,” the brand explained of its new collection. “Behind the scenes lies rigorous research into material, knits, techniques, surface treatments, construction innovation, artisanal craftsmanship, embroidery, and embellishment. The result is a fantasy line-up of elevated looks, defying the conventions of sport or mountain wear and inspired by the world of tailoring.”
Following the brand’s extravaganza in Shanghai and star-studded show in St. Moritz, Moncler had a lot to live up to, but it succeeded. Below, see highlights from the catwalk, front row, and collection, which included Moon Boots, shearling-lined capes, and tailored ski jackets.
