The White Lotus is all about luxury, with Mike White’s sun, sea and satire seeing the super-rich behave badly, with the extravagant hotel serving as a sumptuous setting.
However, the most recent helping of the show’s third season saw the cast depart the resort (this season taking place in Koh Samui in Thailand) and head out onto the ocean for a party that quickly degenerates into debauchery.
In what could quite possibly be one of the most shocking storylines ever seen in The White Lotus, we see siblings Saxon (Patrick Schwarzenegger) and Lochlan (Sam Nivola) have a night they would rather forget, after some illicit drug use results in a party that gets out of hand.
But while the storylines in The White Lotus are (thankfully) fictitious, the yacht is very real – and can be chartered, if you so wish.
Called the Spacecat, the 2022 yacht is available on Northop & Johnson and boasts a litany of luxury features fitting for a decadent holiday, all designed in a quiet yet refined colour palette of white, black and dark grey, and mixing modern materials such as stainless steel with heavy-grained wood.
With four cabins, the three-deck yacht can comfortably hold eight guests, with an impressive 534 square meters space for living and lounging. As well as its private pool (if you don’t fancy dipping your toes in the deep blue sea), the Spacecat houses a bar area, jacuzzi and gym, as well as a conference room for those who need to conduct important business while on holiday.
Those who wish to explore beyond the spacious boat have also been provided with numerous amenities including underwater scooters, water skis, kayaks and paddleboards.
Of course, chartering a yacht of this spec comes with a suitably high-end price tag, starting at €190,000 a week for low season, before rising to €210,000 in the summer months.
