This Oscar nominee is flying high. Cynthia Erivo stepped out Wednesday night, before Academy Awards noms were announced, to a star-studded luncheon in London. And already, she looked like an absolute winner.

In photos from the fête, Erivo is seen chatting with fellow guest and gliding around a flower-adorned ballroom, bringing her contagious good vibes with her. And while the Hollywood gathering looked like a good time, it was Erivo’s outfit what really brought the party.

The actor looked like a walking disco ball—in the best way—in a boxy cropped gray denim jacket and matching midi skirt, both half-covered in circular mirror studs. The Stella McCartney set hails from the brand’s Fall 2025 collection, and is the perfect mix between utilitarian workwear and super-fun partywear.

Erivo stayed warm under the skirt not with tights, but with black suede over-the-knee stiletto boots from Christian Louboutin featuring sky-high platforms. And no, the maximalism didn’t end there. The Wicked star layered on a shaggy ivory faux fur jacket pulled from Stella McCartney’s archives. The contrast created by the oversize outerwear’s flowing fur and the co-ord’s metallic mirrors was the coolest kind of drama.

She topped off her fit with giant silver hoops stacked with other much smaller hoops, and a slouchy leather handbag in the mocha mousse shade of the year.

Erivo is nominated for an Oscar for Best Actress due to her leading role as Elphaba in the film adaptation of Wicked. Co-star (and soulmate BFF) Ariana Grande was also nominated for her role, and the film scored another eight nominations: for best picture, costume design, production design, film editing, sound, makeup and hairstyling, visual effects, and original score.
