If there's a front runner in the new fall jacket race, it's undoubtedly the shiny trench. Patent leather never had it better—in neutral shades at Nina Ricci and Acne Studios and bold red at Isabel Marant. Guillaume Henry at Ricci and Marant also showed black versions—meaning the color doesn't matter so much as a high shine patina. Begging the question—why bother with matte when you can shine?
