As much as we'd like for our first dances to be special, unique and one-of-a-kind, most couples can't help but fall for the same wedding songs. In a new study, Spotify ranked the top fifty first dance songs across the globe. Turns out, newlyweds are huge fans of Ed Sheeran, Etta James and Ray LaMontagne.

To organize the rankings, Spotify scoured over 6.7 million wedding-themed playlists around the world on the streaming site and focused on the thousands with "first dance" in the title to compile the most commonly added songs.

The results show that "Thinking Out Loud" by British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran tops the list with 683 million streams, making it the third most-streamed track in Spotify history. Etta James' legendary "At Last," which once held the number one slot, took second place, followed by "You Are the Best Thing" by Ray LaMontagne. No-brainers like "All of Me" by John Legend (who penned the ballad for his own wedding to Chrissy Teigen), "Everything" by Michael Bublé and "Make You Feel My Love," by love song queen Adele are also on the list.

Of the over 30 million tracks available on Spotify, these are the 10 most-streamed first dance songs:

  1. Ed Sheeran - "Thinking Out Loud"
  2. Etta James - "At Last"
  3. Ray LaMontagne - "You Are The Best Thing"
