Emily Ratajkowski has never been afraid of a dress with a daring cutout or a body-baring moment, and her latest choice offered just that, while looking like it was inspired by the Leaning Tower of Pisa.
On Sunday night, the model attended the Vanity Fair Oscars after-party, where she wore an ivory gown pulled from the Jacquemus Spring/Summer ’23 ready-to-wear collection. The strapless, sculptural design hugged Ratajkowski’s body along the skirt; the top, however, offered some serious sideboob action, because the square neckline actually leaned away from Ratajkowski’s body in a diagonal direction.
Despite not actually touching Ratajkowski’s torso, the top of the gown was molded in the shape of a bust, like a plaster casting, which gave a statuesque appearance to the design. However, in contrast to this rigid aspect, the side of the dress was stitched with a spiraling piece of white tulle, which draped behind the My Body author like a heavenly train.
To match the gown, the model paired it with some towering white heels from Stuart Weitzman, which were visible thanks to the small slit at the back of the skirt. Finally, she accessorized with a pair of dainty diamond teardrop earrings, adding an elegant touch to the overall look.
On the runway, this look was paired with a tulle veil draped over the face of the model, but Ratajkowski nixed this aspect. She left her face uncovered and kept her beauty understated, with her hair parted down the middle and her makeup including light pink blush and eye shadow to match her nude lip.
