The genetics sure are strong in this family. On Monday night, Kaia Gerber posted pictures and a video from Oscars night on Instagram, in which she is seen showing off a sparkly little black dress. And besides the killer fashion, we can’t get over just how much the young star looks like her mom, Cindy Crawford, in the shoot.
In the brand-new photos, Gerber wears a strapless black mirror dress from Celine, which features a slightly plunging sweetheart-shaped neckline that cuts off sharply at the sides and angles downward to create a scoop across the back. The reflective design, styled by Danielle Goldberg, fits snugly around Gerber’s body along the torso, and then flares out ever so slightly along the skirt, giving the gown a bit of a sway.
Beauty-wise, the Bottoms star rocked crimped, blown-out waves that fell behind her shoulders, and she also sported a dusty rose lip along with sienna-colored eye shadow, courtesy of makeup artist Valeria Ferreira.
With her voluminous hairdo, Gerber looked so much like her legendary supermodel mother—and we got to see a side-by-side comparison, since the two posed together for a photo as they got ready for the Vanity Fair Oscars after-party. In the snap, the mom and daughter face each other and hold each other’s arms as they look into the camera. Crawford wears a similarly sparkly outfit—an Alexandre Vauthier midnight-blue mini wrap dress, which is gathered on one side to create a small slit along the skirt.
Gerber is the younger of Crawford and husband Rande Gerber’s two children. Her brother, Presley, is also a model.
