New York Fashion Week kicked off this Thursday, with our favorite NY-based celebrities joining us in sliding into cars to make it to coveted runway shows and running through the streets of the city to hop from pop-ups, to brand presentations, to parties.
Katie Holmes was amongst the stylish crowd that stepped out for the first day of NYFW. Like a movie star, she changed into two totally different outfits for her back-t0-back engagements. But, like a no-fuss minimalist, she styled both looks with a trusty, classic white T-shirt.
In the afternoon, the Rare Objects director stopped by L’agence’s lively presentation held at none other than Grand Central Station. For the occasion, Holmes wore her white tee with silky black wide-leg pants and a long suede blazer in a stunning powder-blue hue. She finished the look with slouchy black leather knee-high boots with pointed toes, a black textured clutch, and chunky gold earrings that dangled as she walked.
Next, to attend the Christian Siriano Fall/Winter 2025 runway show at Chelsea Industrial, Holmes kept her white T-shirt and styled it with a silky, asymmetric midi skirt in a metallic champagne tone.
She also traded her blue blazer for a sharp one in inky black. The Dawson’s Creek alum wore her same boots and clutch, but switched her gold earrings for large, sculptural ones shaped like palm leaves, from Christina Caruso, adding a funky twist to her business-casual ensemble.
She wore bronzy makeup and her hair was pulled into a bun.
Holmes sat on the front row at Siriano’s show next to fellow actor Julianne Hough, The View co-host Whoopi Goldberg, and British singer-songwriter Natasha Bedingfield.
