"To complement Lupita’s Chanel haute couture gown, which was adorned with beautiful, iridescent pearl details, I drew my inspiration from the ultra-glamorous 90’s Chanel runway shows," Barose says. "I worked to play up both the eyes and the lips, for extra drama. Since the overall look was monochromatic pearls, I also added pops of color, with pearlized highlight, into the makeup look."
