Zoe Saldaña is the embodiment of glamour at the 2025 Screen Actors Guild Awards.
The Emilia Pérez actor and recent Harper’s Bazaar cover star made heads turn on the red carpet in an absolutely classic little black dress. The custom Saint Laurent piece was a strapless, floor-length column gown, with a wavy, petal-like off-the-shoulder neckline bedazzled with clear gems adding an ounce of drama.
For jewelry, Saldaña went simple with dangly silver Cartier earrings that looked like atoms. They stood out as her hair was pulled back into a tight ballerina bun.
Saldaña is nominated tonight in the category of Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role, for her performance as Rita Mora Castro in Emilia Pérez. She is up against Monica Barbaro (A Complete Unknown), Jamie Lee Curtis (The Last Showgirl), Danielle Deadwyler (The Piano Lesson), and Ariana Grande (Wicked).
Saldaña has has an incredible awards season thanks to her role in Jacques Audiard’s
musical thriller. Last month, she won her first ever Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture for her performance in the avant-garde film.
“I don’t have much time, and I have dyslexia, so I tend to forget when I’m really anxious and I’m filled with adrenaline, but my heart is full of gratitude,” she said in her acceptance speech. “Thank you so much to the Golden Globes for celebrating our film and honoring the women of Emilia Pérez. This is the first time for me, and I’m just so blessed that I’m sharing this moment with Selena and Karla and Jacque and all of my fellow nominees. I’m in awe of you, your strength, your complexity, and your undeniable talent.”
