The Screen Actors Guild Awards came and went, and now, we’re looking back at the best moments.

On the red carpet, we saw some of our favorite film and television stars show out in magnificent looks: Elle Fanning in an inky-black peplum top, Timothée Chalamet in a neon top and bolo tie, and Selena Gomez in a Snow White-coded ensemble.

And during the ceremony, we were captivated by moving acceptance speeches from Jane Fonda and Zoe Saldaña, and sweet PDA moments from celebrity couples, like Leighton Meester and Adam Brody.

Ahead, a breakdown of the biggest highlights from the night.

The actor kicked off the award show by singing a version of her song “Do You Want to Build a Snowman?” from Frozen, except in this version, she sang about wanting to become an actor and name-dropped several stars in the room as the screen flashed photos of them when they were younger.

The legend, 87, was honored for her decades in television and film. “It’s okay to be a late bloomer as long as you don’t miss the flower show. I’m a late bloomer—this is the flower show,” she said in her speech.

She noted that having grown up in an era when women weren’t supposed to “get angry and have opinions,” acting gave her the opportunity to play angry women with opinions.

Fonda finished her moving, powerful speech with words highlighting the importance of empathy and acceptance, especially in times of political turmoil. “Woke just means you give a damn about other people.”
