Miley Cyrus is ready for her Oscars red-carpet close-up.
The pop star turned heads with her arrival at the 97th annual Academy Awards, which is taking place tonight at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood. For the occasion, Cyrus once again put her inimitable cool-girl style on full display, opting to wear a black sleeveless custom McQueen gown with a high neck, a distressed bodice dotted with sequins, and a sheer skirt.
But the real highlight of her look was her glam. Cyrus debuted bleached brows and had her golden hair styled in a side-parted curly ’do that seemed to pay tribute to her Nashville roots.
Although she isn’t nominated for an award tonight, Cyrus will be taking the stage as one of the ceremony’s presenters. Fellow presenters include Selena Gomez, Penélope Cruz, Scarlett Johansson, Emma Stone, and Halle Berry.
Cyrus previously opened up about developing her own personal sense of style during a 2024 guest appearance on Harper’s Bazaar’s podcast, The Good Buy.
“My personal style is in the moment. I am committed while also being completely detached. That’s who I am. That’s like being in a relationship with me, that’s being a friend of mine, that’s being related to me. At all times, I am fully convinced until I’m not. And then I am done with it. I have moved on,” the former Bazaar cover star said. “Consistency has never really been too important to me because I think being inconsistent and being ever-changing is consistency in itself. And so every day is just different. I can feel very committed to a look but also have one foot already out the door and onto the next one.”
