Emma Stone has arrived at the 97th annual Academy Awards.
Stepping onto the red carpet at Hollywood’s Dolby Theatre tonight, the actor made a striking appearance in a shimmery pearlescent gown featuring a plunging neckline. Stone kept her look to a minimum, accessorizing with diamond earrings, nude heels, and a flapper-esque pixie cut.
Although she isn’t nominated tonight, Stone is expected to take the stage as one of the ceremony’s A-list presenters, a list that also includes the likes of Selena Gomez, Miley Cyrus, Halle Berry, Penélope Cruz, and Scarlett Johansson.
Stone has two Academy Awards under her belt. She last won an Oscar in 2024, triumphing in the Best Actress category for her performance as Bella Baxter in Yorgos Lanthimos’s Poor Things.
“The women on this stage, you are all incredible, and the women in this category—Sandra, Annette, Carey, Lily—I share this with you. I’m in awe of you. It has been such an honor to do this all together, and I hope we continue to do more together,” Stone said during her acceptance speech at the time. “The other night I was panicking, as you can, that maybe something like this could happen, and Yorgos told me, ‘Please take yourself out of it’—and he was right, because it’s not about me. It’s the team that came together to make something better than the sum of its parts. That’s the best part about making movies, is all of us together.”
