The Obama sisters continue to amp up their style as they take their place in the Los Angeles cultural scene.
Recently, the siblings attended an album-release party for their friend and R&B singer Destin Conrad, whose LP, Love on Digital, dropped on April 25.
While it’s unclear exactly when and where the party took place, images from the event surfaced last night, as photographer Ryder shared stills to her Instagram featuring stars like Kehlani, Justine Skye, and Joyce Wrice, who were all in attendance.
Within the carousel, Ryder slotted in a photo of Malia and Sasha Obama, who were seen flanking Conrad while wearing two totally different takes on spring dressing.
For her part, Malia was more bundled up, wearing a thick brown leather coat that she seemingly kept on for the event. She was turned to the side, concealing the rest of her ensemble.
Meanwhile, Sasha went for a much more breathable fit, choosing a teeny, cropped white tank and a pair of low-rise, light-wash blue jeans, which were cinched with a brown-and-white woven belt topped off with a golden buckle. Leaning into a surfer vibe, the younger Obama sibling accessorized with a leather cord necklace that was strung with a large amber stone pendant.
We’ve seen a lot of the Obama sisters lately, on outings with friends and on solo excursions, always showing off their unique styles in the process. And back in March, Malia—a budding film producer—attended a screening for the film Sorry, Baby in Los Angeles.
The daughters of former president Barack Obama and Michelle Obama are slowly becoming more public-facing, and the fashion world thanks them for it.
