For one of her first red-carpet appearances, Meghan Markle went for very relaxed hair and make-up.

Before her role on Suits, she used to open cases on Deal or No Deal, and her bouncy curls were certainly camera ready.

Looking particularly sunkissed in 2010, Markle opted for a straighter hairstyle and radiance-boosting pink make-up.

Compared to her rich brunette locks today, Markle's hair colour was a lot lighter in 2011, and she'd introduced more volume with the inclusion of choppy layers.
