By

I’m always asked, “What are your favorite beauty products?”—and honestly, I find that question hard to answer. My role as Bazaar’s beauty director requires me to test hundreds, if not thousands, of launches yearly, so my favorites change daily as I discover what’s new. I’m not alone in this. My colleagues also have access to the best that beauty has to offer, and, combined with their exceptional taste, are keepers of so many must-have recommendations across skincare, haircare, body care, makeup, and more. The list below represents the 24 beauty products we all tried and loved in November, organized in one handy list. Happy shopping!

Femmue Extraordinary Beauty Cleansing Balm

Extraordinary Beauty Cleansing Balm

“I’ve tried my fair share of cleansing balms, and many either left a tacky residue on the skin after a thorough rinse or irritated my face to the point of breakouts. I wasn’t familiar with Femmue until recently, and this balm was the brand’s first product I tried. So far, I’m loving it! It has a subtle scent that’s a little sweet and a little herbal and goes on thick with a honeylike texture before turning into an oil that quickly rinses away. After each use, my skin has felt soft and freshly pampered.” —Michella Oré, fashion commerce editor

Anablue Scalp Cleanser

Scalp Cleanser

“Every few days, I’ll use this scalp cleanser for an extra-deep cleanse. It’s infused with pink Himalayan sea salt that feels like it’s detoxifying my pores by the second and smells invigorating. Since using it, I’ve noticed that my hair feels lighter and the curls have more bounce to them.” —MO

Soft Services Theraplush Hold

Theraplush Hold

“My goal is to have ageless hands forever, and consequently I have become a hand cream connoisseur. Soft Services Theraplus is by far the chicest one I’ve yet to lay my hands on. Not only does it look gorgeous on my nightstand (and doubles as a ring dish), but it instantly sinks into the skin despite being described as a ‘custardy’ cream. When I apply the cream every night, I’m left with a pleasant floral and amber scent just before my head hits the pillow.” —Katie Intner, associate beauty editor

8

Danucera Cerabalm

Cerabalm

“This luxurious-feeling balm—infused with sea-buckthorn oil for anti-inflammatory properties, meadowfoam-seed oil to reduce sebum production, and spirulina extract to increase cell turnover—can be used in a multitude of ways. I love using it as a step in my double-cleanse (it swiftly removes makeup, dirt, and grime without leaving a film on the skin), but it’s also a fantastic treatment mask or as a balmy highlight on top of makeup.” —KI

Exponent Beauty Brightening Boost Vitamin C Pro System

Brightening Boost Vitamin C Pro System

“Traveling with my extensive skincare routine is no easy feat—especially since I pride myself on using a carry-on suitcase. I discovered Exponent, and it made traveling with skincare a dream. A base serum of hyaluronic acid is mixed with powder formulations of popular ingredients like vitamin C and retinol to ensure the powerhouse actives are at their peak potency. I love that I can just travel with one base serum to mix with various powders so I don't have to sacrifice my skincare routine when on the go.” —KI

MoroccanOil Frizz Shield Spray

Frizz Shield Spray

“I am a loyal keratin client, but sometimes, as the treatment grows out, frizz peeks through. I have been spritzing this MoroccanOil spray in my hair before blow drying, and I have been left with silky-smooth strands for days. The formula also works great around my hairline where I get flyaways—without leaving a heavy residue.” —KI

Dyson Airwrap i.d.

Airwrap i.d.

“I have very long, very thick hair, and I always have. While I love that it’s become my signature look (I’ve never cut off more than three inches, and even that felt extreme), it’s also intimidating to try to do my own hair at home. As a result, sometimes I feel like it can look a little lackluster when I get all dressed up for significant events or a wedding. I finally caved and decided I needed a Dyson Airwrap.

The new i.d. iteration is made for two hair types, one being straight to wavy hair, which is exactly what I needed. I feel like my general nervousness about doing my hair at home is how time-consuming it can be, but the Airwrap makes it so easy and so quick. It’s actually relaxing to use!? Especially with the new app, which helps you customize your curl preference and count down how long you need to do each step. It’s perfect, and I've never experimented with hairstyles, updos, and blowouts as much as I have now.” —Tara Gonzalez, senior fashion editor

Chanel Les Beiges Healthy Glow Bronzing Cream

Les Beiges Healthy Glow Bronzing Cream

“Now that summer is officially over, I am deeply mourning the loss of my tan. I often struggle with giving myself the same natural-looking, sun-kissed color throughout the other seasons. But I think it’s because I had never used the Chanel Les Beiges Healthy Glow Bronzing cream. I’ve long heard it was the holy grail of bronzers, and now I can see why. The cream goes on easily and blends like butter. It’s balmy, creamy, and buildable. I love using it to contour my cheekbones and add more definition to my face. But unlike other bronzers, it genuinely brightens up my entire face in a way that often only a natural tan can do. It also lasts forever, so people think I’m just tan when I wear it and not just using makeup.” —TG

Sofie Pavitt Face Mandelic Clearing Serum

Mandelic Clearing Serum

“I recently went to get my first facial at Sofie Pavitt after multiple beauty editors told me it was the place to go in New York. Her signature SPF facial left me feeling glowy and refreshed after weeks of nonstop travel. Days later, I feel like my skin looks the best it has in months. My esthetician recommended Pavit’s mandelic clearing serum as an exfoliator at night to help with some of the dead-skin-cell buildup she saw. It’s a three-in-one exfoliating active serum that goes on extremely gently. I’ve only been using it for a short time, but I feel like it’s helping smooth out my skin, and I am excited to see the long-term results.” —TG

Chanel Les Beiges Healthy Glow Sheer Colour Stick

Les Beiges Healthy Glow Sheer Colour Stick

“There are few things I love more than this incredible blush stick. I love blush so much; it's the only face product I’ll always apply, even if I’m in a rush. The colors on these by Chanel are so pigmented and pretty but also allow my freckles underneath to shine through, which keeps it all looking so natural. It makes me feel so glowy, and I cannot imagine my makeup routine without it. All I do is apply it straight onto my cheeks and pat out for a perfect look that I don’t need to reapply. It lasts forever and makes me feel so bright.” —TG

Nopalera Mandarina Cactus Flower Exfoliant

Mandarina Cactus Flower Exfoliant

“I'm very picky when it comes to shower products, especially since my skin runs dry, and I feel that so many shower gels and soaps really strip my skin. I recently tried out a mini version of Mexican wellness brand Nopalera’s cactus-flower exfoliant and its Dulce de Cuerpo Cactus Cream (that I found at Freedom Apothecary), and not only am I hydrated, smooth, and moisturized, I smell divine! The Southwest girl in me is also obsessed with anything that incorporates Indigenous ingredients like prickly pear into the final products; it makes me feel at home.” —Bianca Betancourt, culture editor

Flamingo Estate Manuka Rich Cream

Manuka Rich Cream

“Most hand creams skew too floral and too perfumy for me, but Flamingo Estate’s Manuka Cream is lush, hydrating, and has the most subtle hint of honey. It’s a must-have in my bag for the rough winter months ahead.” —BB
