13 Things Jennifer Fisher Would Buy Again
New York jewelry designer reveals her favorite investment-worthy items and beauty must-haves
Jennifer Fisher is not only the force behind her namesake powerhouse jewelry line, but a mother of two, and someone with impeccable taste. Chances are you’ve spotted her hoop earrings on celebrities from Rihanna to Michelle Obama. But it was her charm necklace engraved with her firstborn’s name that truly kicked off the business nearly 20 years ago. “It is my talisman in all situations…much needed in the fashion industry,” Fisher tells Bazaar. After years in fashion, Fisher has expanded her business into home, lifestyle, and even food. (On the side, she crafts creative, healthy, and delicious recipes that have enlisted a cult following—an offshoot dubbed “Jennifer Fisher Kitchen,” where she shares her cooking secrets and sells jars of flavored salt.)
Over the years, she’s become more attuned to her personal style. “I’ve learned over time to trust my gut and be myself,” she says. For Fisher, it’s not about the latest It item, it’s about the longevity of a piece. “I invest in pieces that I know will withstand the test of time. I keep it monochromatic with khaki, navy, gray, and army green. Investment pieces cost more, but they are worth it. I’d rather have one coat that I keep for 10 years rather than 10 coats that don’t last as long.” Among her favorite workhorse items are Sacai’s cropped trench jacket and The Row’s Park tote (which she says is her favorite ‘mom bag’). “Style should be functional but still reflect who you are. Confidence, great basics, and bold accessories go a long way.”
Ahead, Fisher shares her lucky 13, from The Row bags to her go-to slides, and the fragrance she swears by.
