Prince George made an adorable cameo while accompanying his dad, Prince William, to the UEFA European Championship soccer finals.
On Sunday, the royals headed to Olympiastadion in Berlin to watch the final match between Spain and England, in which Spain ultimately prevailed, 2–1. For the occasion, the 10-year-old prince looked like his dad’s Mini-Me in a matching outfit. The two wore dark blue suits, white collared dress shirts, and diagonally striped blue-and-white ties.
George even replicated William’s lively facial expressions throughout the match. The father and son were seen raucously cheering and holding their faces in suspense as the game progressed.
At the event, William and George sat alongside Spanish royalty, too. King Felipe VI and his 18-year-old daughter, Princess Leonor, were seen greeting the British royal duo in their box at the stadium.
As for George’s younger siblings, nine-year-old Princess Charlotte and six-year-old Prince Louis? The two tuned in to the match from home, according to a picture posted to the royals’ official X account.
“England, your teamwork, grit and determination were an inspiration to all of us, young and old,” William and Princess Kate said in a shared message. “Congratulations to Spain.” They signed off the note with their initials: “W & C.”
William and George aren’t the only royals having a sporty weekend. Earlier on Sunday, Kate made a rare public appearance to sit courtside at Wimbledon. To watch the men’s singles finals between Carlos Alcaraz and Novac Djokovic, she brought along Charlotte and her own younger sister, Pippa Middleton.
