Happy birthday, Princess Charlotte!

The little royal turns 10 years old today, May 2, and to mark the occasion, her parents, Princess Catherine and Prince William, released a sweet new portrait of her.

The image, shared on the Waleses’s Instagram, shows Charlotte smiling ear to ear while sitting on a grassy field. Taking a cue from her nature-loving mom, she wears a camo-style jacket with an earthy leaf print, carries a bright blue backpack, and has her hair tied into a messy, low ponytail.

She looks all grown up, and clearly resembles both of her royal parents. The candid photo was taken by Princess Kate, who is an amateur photographer, and regularly takes lovely snaps of her family members (she also took the portrait of Charlotte for her ninth birthday).

Charlotte’s birthday comes just a few days after little brother Prince Louis’s The little prince celebrated his seventh birthday on April 24, and his parents marked the day by sharing a professional photo and a video of Louis—where he is adorably missing some baby teeth.

The youngest Wales kid is preppy and sweet in an olive-green sweater worn over a white checkered shirt, and paired with blue jeans. In the clip, the little royal’s can be heard speaking.

Kate and William got back home just in time to celebrate their daughter’s birthday. The two had spent the last couple of days in Scotland’s Isle of Mull. The purpose of the trip was to highlight the importance of preserving the environment—but it also fell on the pair’s 14th wedding anniversary. Photos shared on social media of them in the island see them looking so in love in coordinating preppy, outdoorsy looks, and even showing rare public displays of affection.
