Duchess Meghan’s royal tastemaker era has been inspiring us in more ways than we can count. We want her home garden, we’re itching to taste her famous raspberry jam, and now we’re scurrying to shop her closet staples.
After debuting her Netflix cooking show, With Love, Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex became aware of the influence her wardrobe had on viewers, so she made her closet shoppable, pointing fans straight to pieces that she wore on the series.
“Many of you have asked, so here you go!” Meghan wrote in an Instagram Story late last month, announcing the news and adding a link to shop her staples. “A little shopping to start the week. More to come. Link in bio ❤️.”
There are plenty of great pieces in there, but some fans noticed that Meghan’s latest quiet-luxury ensemble, which she wore for a New York Times photo shoot, was not included. The fit in question was composed of a sleeveless white knit top with a high neck and ribbed details. She paired it with airy white pants.
As there are many white knit tops from many brands out there, we were at a loss when trying to pinpoint Meghan’s exact piece. Now, however, we have found it.
The duchess’s top hails from Brochu Walker. It is the Joseph Top in salt white, made of 100 percent organic-cotton yarn. The spring-appropriate sweater retails for $298 and is an example of Meghan’s affinity for easy and elegant high-low dressing.
“I am beyond honored and truly grateful to see Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex, embrace Brochu Walker,” Karine Dubner, the brand’s owner and creative director, said in a statement. “Her effortless elegance perfectly resonates with our brand.”
