Earlier this week, the Emily in Paris actor posted a carousel of pictures on his Instagram with the caption “Howdy Slab City 🌵.” But the post also served as official confirmation that he and Shailene Woodley are a couple.
Bravo orchestrated the launch exactly right. First, he played it coy with a picture of Salvation Mountain, an art project, that read “God is Love”—with “love” being the prominent word—then a hand-holding picture, not giving too much away. And then, he posted a video of people walking to a concert where right at the end, you see Woodley making a face at the camera.
Finally, in slide four, we see him and Woodley in cowboy hats grinning ear to ear.
By the fifth picture, it’s all love. The two actors embrace one another, with musician Sophie Hawley-Weld in the hug, too.
Woodley wore a silky white dress with lace details on the top and hem. Bravo was casual in a black graphic T-shirt, blue jeans, a tan cardigan, and a big, brown cowboy hat.
Woodley and Bravo were recently spotted holding hands in Paris, but had not publicly confirmed their relationship—until now.
Woodley was previously engaged to Aaron Rodgers, but the two called off their engagement in 2022.
The Big Little Lies actress opened up last year about dealing with heartbreak. When Bustle asked her what helped her stop performing for others, she replied, “Just a broken heart.” She added, “A broken heart that healed and broke again. I fell in love over and over with unavailability. I’m very open as a human. I love easy and I care easy, but I do not love lightly, and I do not care lightly.”
Although it is still early in this new romance, it’s clear that Bravo is already a great Instagram boyfriend. We ship.
