In the realm of accessories, there are those deemed party-appropriate—and those that aren’t. While some still side-eye the Apple Watch as a sartorial faux pas, others have embraced the luxury watch as the ultimate quiet luxury accessory. Count Hailey Bieber in the latter camp.
Her weekend in Miami is just getting started, but she’s already making record time (pun not intended) when it comes to standout looks. In town for a Rhode brand activation, Bieber shared an Instagram photo dump of her trip to the Sunshine State, and her watch game did not go unnoticed.
The post included a few standout ensembles, including that fresh-off-the-runway look from Marine Serre’s Fall/Winter 2025 show. The designer dress, made entirely from upcycled metallic watch straps, was perhaps the most obvious nod to Bieber’s affinity for watches, it didn’t stop there.
In the first snap, she’s seen leaning against a white sports car in a shimmering gold mini dress from Dolce & Gabbana’s Fall/Winter 2004 collection. The archival piece features a dramatic plunging neckline outlined in silver beading and a cinched waist with a rosette detail. She styled it with clear PVC heels and a delicate silver watch.
Elsewhere in the post, the Rhode founder changed into a F/W 1996 Gianni Versace Couture red military-style mini dress and bright green sweater tied at the waist, originally worn by Claudia Schiffer on the runway. She styled it black oval sunnies, FEMME strappy heels, and a structured The Row handbag, this time going for a touch of gold courtesy of her wrist candy for some contrast.
Between the literal and the subtle luxe addition, Bieber’s Miami wardrobe makes it clear that watches are back—and she’s not wasting a second proving it.
