Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex has been exceptionally busy over the last few days. As well as releasing the first drop of products under her new As Ever brand (her range of preserves, teas and edible flower petals sold out in less than an hour), she’s been sharing behind-the-scenes peeks at the process of making her new venture a success.

As part of the insider look at her life in Montecito, Meghan took to Instagram to share an intimate video of her whipping up a family favorite dessert alongside her mother, Doria Ragland.

In the short clip, the duchess is seen making a trifle-esque dessert, which Doria had the honor of taste-testing. And the recipe seemingly had Ragland’s seal of approval, as she is seen happily tucking in to the pudding, much to Meghan’s delight.

It appears that the dish is a family favorite among the Sussexes, with Meghan writing in the caption that she named the “Chantilly Lili” treat after her three-year-old daughter, Lilibet.

“As special and sweet as she is!” Meghan embellished the caption.

The duchess has also expressed joy at her As Ever brand proving to be a roaring success upon its release.

“Our shelves may be empty, but my heart is full!” she wrote. “We sold out in less than one hour and I can’t thank you enough… for celebrating, purchasing, sharing, and believing. It’s just the start.”

Meghan's first few products for the brand include a raspberry spread (also available with keepsake packaging, with the duchess previously revealing on social media that “jam is my jam”), a honey preserve and a selection of herbal teas. The duchess is also touting premade crepe and shortbread mixes to be whipped up quickly and from the comfort of your own kitchen.

Edible flower sprinkles, which have become a signature of Meghan’s after she used them liberally in her new series, With Love, Meghan, can also be purchased—though eager shoppers will have to wait until the goods are restocked online.
