Princess Catherine is continuing her work in early childhood development through a cause that is as healing for kids as it is for adults as it is for the planet. The Princess of Wales has collaborated with Scouts, a U.K. organization that teaches children important survival skills, for a short film that highlights the power of spending time in nature.

In the video, posted on YouTube, Kate is seen spending time with some little Scouts, all clad in their pin-dotted uniforms, in a wooded area in the United Kingdom. “Spending time in the natural world provides a sense of balance and belonging. For young people, access to nature is so important for helping to build confidence, self-belief, life skills, and a sense of perspective. That is why organisations like @scouts are so important,” Kate and the organization wrote in a joint Instagram post.

To film the video, Kate got on theme. She dressed like a royal Scout herself in a look composed of earth tones. Up top, she wore a cozy gray varsity jacket with navy accents, which she layered over a beige knit turtleneck sweater. For bottoms, Kate opted for practical olive-green pants, which she paired with a pair of trusty brown leather hiking boots and fuzzy caramel socks.

For a final, regal touch, the princess accessorized with a classic newsboy cap in olive-green fabric to complement her earthy ensemble. Her hair was down in easy waves under the hat.

The old-school accessory has recently also been embraced by It girls Kendall Jenner and Rihanna. So, we might be sensing a comeback.
