Duchess Meghan is always happy to play the role of supportive partner.
In a new appearance on The Jamie Kern Lima Show Podcast, Meghan got candid about her relationship with Prince Harry, telling Kern Lima that she plans to always be married, while even gushing at one point about Harry’s looks. “He’s also a fox, if you haven’t noticed,” Meghan said with a smile. “My husband’s very very handsome, but his heart is even more beautiful.”
When asked by Kern Lima how she supports The Duke of Sussex through his work and projects like the Invictus Games, Meghan said it helps that she keeps her eyes off the headlines.
“You know, I think a lot of it is being a soundboard, especially because I don’t read media or press,” Meghan said. “I’m a good barometer of just [being] a very removed point of view because I’m only looking at it through the lens of loving him—what’s in his best and highest good, what’s in the best interest for us as a family, what will help nurture him and help him find balance.”
She added, “So I think in that regard I can hear it through a different lens because my opinion is not colored by anything other than what I know from him and what I can see for our future.”
Meghan and Harry have been together since 2016 and they tied the knot on May 19, 2018. In the years since, the pair have welcomed two children: Prince Archie, 5, and Princess Lilibet, 3.
